A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people in Waroona, Cookernup, Preston Beach, Lake Clifton, Hamel, Wagerup, Yarloop, Harvey, Wokalup, Binningup, Myalup in the Shires of Harvey and Waroona.
WHAT TO DO:
Forrest Highway is currently open in both directions, however a reduced speed limit of 80 km/h is in place for a 10 km section between Old Coast Road and Ludlow Road.
Motorists are asked to avoid non-essential travel through the area. If you must travel please ensure your petrol tank is full before you depart.
Road users are urged to drive with caution as stray livestock and emergency service vehicles may be in the area.
