Take action with thunderstorms coming in parts of the Midwest Gascoyne, Goldfields Midlands, South West and Great Southern.
If you live in an area bounded by Moora to Southern Cross to Lake King to Collie to Harvey to Moora you should take action and stay safe with more thunderstorms to come.
This includes people in York, Narrogin and surrounding areas. This does NOT include Perth metropolitan area and Southern Cross.
The overall weather pattern is not unusual for this time of year but severe weather may occur in some parts of the warning area.

People are being urged to do what they can to help themselves, if it is safe to do so, before calling the SES for assistance.

As at 2.44pm on Saturday 23 January the Bureau of Meteorology advises there is a risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. At 2:24 pm, doppler radar imagery showed possible damaging winds associated with thunderstorms around Serpentine. Damaging winds have been reported at Serpentine. These thunderstorms are currently heading south towards Dwellingup. There are other thunderstorms occurring further inland within the warning area.
Storms may be accompanied by damaging winds and large hail. Storms could cause damage to homes and property.
IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE
After a storm State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers make temporary repairs to homes that have been badly damaged, such as roofs that have been ripped off or large fallen trees on homes and cars. Please contact your insurance company to organise permanent repairs.
