As at 8.37pm on Monday 29 February 2016 the Bureau of Meteorology advises the severe thunderstorm warning for people in an area bounded by Esperance to Paynes Find to Mount Augustus to Newman to Wiluna to Leonora to Balladonia and along the coast to Esperance has been cancelled.Thunderstorms are continuing in the region and although gusty winds and heavy showers are possible, severe thunderstorms are no longer expected. The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary. To date, DFES has received minimal calls for assistance.IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE:
