ALERT LEVEL:
A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people near Julimar Road in West Toodyay in the Shire of Toodyay.
The fire started between Julimar Road and Kane Road and has now jumped Julimar Road.
Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date.
WHAT TO DO:
• Stay alert and monitor your surroundings.
• Watch for signs of a bushfire, especially smoke and flames.

• Read through your bushfire survival plan.
• If you do not have a plan decide what you will do if the situation gets worse.
ROAD CLOSURES:
Julimar Road is closed at the intersections of Coonele West Road, Kane Road and Avon Lane.
Motorists should avoid the area and be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site.

WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
Career and volunteer firefighters in 15 appliances are on the scene.
Helitacs have been sent to assist ground crews.
The incident was reported at 10.22am today.
