Disability Access and Inclusion

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2025 – Leaving no one behind.

DFES is seeking feedback on its draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2025 (PDF – 2MB). Feedback is requested by Friday 23 October 2020. Please email your feedback to: inclusion@dfes.wa.gov.au

The plan has been prepared in accordance with the Disability Services Act 1993. The Act requires all local government and selected State Government agencies to develop a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP). DAIPs assist public authorities to plan and implement improvements to access and inclusion across seven outcome areas, in regard to services and events, buildings and facilities, information, quality of service, complaints, consultation processes and employment. These plans benefit all people including people with disability, the elderly, young parents and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and the wider DFES community.
