An ALL CLEAR advice has been issued for people in the immediate north and west of Yanget Hill, One Bush Hill, Beatenally Hill and Moonyoonooka.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
Firefighters are currently mopping up and will monitor the area for the rest of the day.
WHAT TO DO:
Motorists in the area should take caution as there may still be smoke across some roads.
All roads are now open.
A number of firefighters from volunteer bushfire brigades operated by the City of Geraldton/Greenough, Shire of Chapman Valley, Fire and Rescue Service and DEC have been busy since Wednesday 9 December working to bring the fire under control.
They were supported by two water bombers operating from the air.
Personnel from WA Police, DEC, FESA, the Shire of Chapman Valley and the City of Geraldton/Greenough worked together.
It is estimated 2000 hectares were burnt. Sheds and infrastructure such as fences were lost.
