An ALL CLEAR advice has been issued for Rocking Road, Lakeway Drive and Plower Way Kingsley. The bushfire that threatened homes is now being held within containment lines and under control. People should remain vigilant in case the situation changes.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
Crews are working to strengthen containment lines to stop the fire escaping and will leave the area safe.
Firefighters are currently back burning in the area to make it safer. Smoke is expected to be across Wanneroo Road and motorists are asked to drive slowly with their headlights on.
WHAT TO DO:
It is now safe for people to return home.
Hocking Road is closed between Morro Street and Wanneroo Road.
Lakeway Drive south of Plover Way intersection.
When returning home, motorists in the area should take extreme caution as there may still be smoke across some roads and fire and other emergency services personnel who are continuing their work.

More than 30 Fire and Rescue Service and Department of Environment firefighters have been busy since 1.30pm protecting lives and homes.
They were supported by three helitacs operating from the air. They have now been released from the fire.
Firefighters have worked hard to get the fire contained and have saved homes along Hocking Road, Lakeway Drive and Plover Way.
It is estimated five hectares were burnt.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined however people are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Police Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
