An ALL CLEAR advice has been issued for people in Serpentine. The bushfire that started near the South Western Highway between Kingsbury Drive and Scrivener Road is now under control. People should remain vigilant in case the situation changes.

Crews are currently mopping up and will monitor the area for the rest of the afternoon.
WHAT TO DO:
It is now safe for people to return home.
More than 40 career and volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, volunteer Bush Fire Brigade and Department of Environment and Conservation firefighters have been busy since 9.12am protecting lives and homes.
They were supported by three helitacs operating from the air.
It is estimated three hectares were burnt. One home was damaged and one shed and fences were lost.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined however people are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Police Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
