A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people east of Joseph Road between Inthanoona Road and Trimble Road.
This includes the vicinity of Bunning Road, Trimble Road, Inthanoona Road and Joseph Road.
There are no lives or homes threatened by the fire. Although there is no immediate danger you need to keep up to date in case the situation changes.
WHAT TO DO:
People living in the area need to be alert and watch for signs of fire.
• Close all doors and windows
• Turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible
People living in the area need to be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
The fire is contained and under control.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING:
There are 50 firefighters on the scene. These are made up of career Fire and Rescue Service crews, volunteer Fire and Rescue Service crews, Bush Fire Service crews and Department of Environment and Conversation firefighters.
Three Helitacs had earlier been mobilised to assist ground crews but are no longer in use.
One loader and one dozer is being used.
The incident was reported at 2.22pm today.
There was minor damage to some sheds.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke. They should also be aware of emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.
