Concerned friends and relatives of those affected by the New Zealand earthquake can call the Department of Foreign Affairs on 1300 555 135.

 

Perth Hills Fire Appeal

 

People wanting to help those affected by the Perth Hills Fires in Roleystone and Kelmscott may do so through the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.

 

Seventy one structures were destroyed by the bushfire, which started on Sunday 6 February, including homes, businesses, sheds, cars and carports. An additional 39 structures sustained partial damage of varying degrees.

 

Donations to the Perth Hills Fire Appeal can be made in the following ways:

  • Through any BankWest branch or agency to the dedicated Appeal account  BSB 306-089, Account 277 061-5
  • Via EFT BankWest’s Appeal account BSB 306-089, Account 277 061-5
  • In person at the Customer Service counter at Council House, 27 St Georges Terrace, Perth;

Lake Clifton, Shire of Waroona Bushfire Appeal

 

People wanting to help those affected by the fires in Lake Clifton may do so through the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.

 

Nine homes and a granny flat were destroyed along with numerous sheds, vehicles and livestock in the bushfire, which started on Monday 10 January.

 

Separate to the Gascoyne and Mid West Flood Appeal that is currently running, a new bank account has been established.

 

Donations for the Lake Clifton Fires can be made in the following ways:

  • Through any BankWest branch or agency to the dedicated Appeal account  BSB 306-089, Account 276 246-0.
  • In person at the Customer Service counter at Council House, 27 St Georges Terrace, Perth;

People wanting to help those affected by the devastating floods in Carnarvon and the Gascoyne region are able to provide donations through the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
