WHAT TO DO:

People living in the area need to be alert, watch for signs of fire and be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working on site and take their advice.

You should:

Motorists should be extremely careful when driving through the area because of smoke from the fire.

·         Drive slowly

·         If you cannot see clearly, pull over to the side of the road, keep your headlights and hazard lights on, and wait until the smoke clears

The three fires are under control.

They were reported at 10am today and have burnt through more than 600 hectares.
