Andrew Thompson AFSM is dedicated to lifting people up to be their best. From guiding youth involved in juvenile arson events to change their behaviours to supporting the welfare of volunteer brigade members through traumatic events,
his 30 years with the BFB, VFRS and CFRS is leaving an impact on lives throughout the Lower South West.
DFES Corporate Awards for Outstanding Individual Contribution
- Nicola O'Callaghan, Marine Services
Whether she realises or not, Nicola O’Callaghan’s efforts are contributing to a healthier society. Through the negotiation, communication, and engagement required to rebrand and deliver 37 marine rescue groups across WA,
she’s become a compassionate and empathetic leader. She has stood up and spoken up as a young woman and created community connections that are changing the culture of marine services.
