All resources are evidence-based, drawing on present research and practice in the field of disaster and resilience education.   DFES actively participates in the Disaster Resilient Australia New Zealand Schools Education Network (DRANZSEN) and has developed a five year School Aged Education Strategy in consultation with researchers, DFES operational staff and leaders within the WA education sector.

“Thank you so much for such an engaging excursion. I am certain that the children have learnt a wealth of knowledge about fire safety. I look forward to discussing fire safety with them in the classroom.”
